CROOKED LAWYERS,  PERJURING JUDGES,
INEPT ENFORCEMENT!

WHAT CAN THE PUBLIC DO ABOUT COURT CORRUPTION?

Marin County has established itself as the home of total court corruption.  For the past several years the media has reported that Marin County's judges, court administrators, clerks, and lawyers have been under FBI investigation for the many injustices reported to various enforcement agencies.  The Grand Jury in Marin was told by county counsel that they were not allowed to investigate and report on the total breakdown of justice in its own county.  Dismayed and disgusted, several jury members hired New York investigative reporter Karen Winner to examine and report on the out of control court system.  The report that she issued was scathing and detailed the incest of the infamous FLEAS, the  few privileged lawyers who sought and gave favors to Judge Michael  Dufficy.  Shortly thereafter Judge Dufficy stepped down from the Family Law bench citing health reasons.  Many who were victimized considered this a minor victory.

Recently Commissioner Sylvia Shapiro who was also named in the Winner Report "retired" citing stress and health reasons.  Her decision eliminated one more stumbling block to justice in the Family Law courts in Marin County.  Another small victory for those who seek true justice.

However, both Judge Dufficy and Commissioner Shapiro have left devastated families in their legal wake.  The deliberate damage that these two individuals inflicted on many men, women and children will never be undone.

The public agencies put in place to regulate the lawyers, court administrators, and judges has utterly failed the public.  The California State Bar turned a blind eye on countless complaints it received about lawyers in Marin County.  The Commission on Judicial Performance ignored countless complaints and thereby sanctioned the abuse heaped upon families by these two arrogant and abusive court officers.  Repeatedly citizens complained that court files were unavailable or that documents had been falsified or removed from files under the sole control of court administrators.  Long time court administrator John P. Montgomery conducted no investigations into such complaints but continued the cover up.  California's Attorney General Bill Lockyer received numerous reports of the corruption.  He turned his back on the victims and supported the perpetrators.

Marin County District Attorney Paula Kamena  absolutely refused to investigate and prosecute the individuals responsible for falsifying legal papers and those committing obstruction of justice.  Instead Kamena chose to waste taxpayers dollars attempting to prosecute a grand juror for speaking out about the court corruption.  Kamena and her underling, Kelly Vieira, threw good money after bad by impaneling a special criminal grand jury to prosecute an outspoken woman whose child had been illegally stolen from her by the court systems in Sonoma and Marin Counties.  Both prosecutors introduced falsified papers as evidence before that grand jury and they allowed perjured testimony to be introduced by two witnesses.   Federal Magistrate Judge James A. Larson served as the grand jury chairman handpicked by Judge Dufficy.  What is wrong with this picture?

While all of this was happening, the FBI failed to issue a report or charge anyone with a crime.  The courts of Marin County were allowed to operate like a wild west cow town with a hanging judge.  The continuing criminal enterprise that is the Marin County Court system is well protected by the very agents and agencies employed to regulate the courts and assure true justice for its citizens.  In America, justice is truly blind.
